Harlequins skipper Danny Care has signed a new long-term deal with the Premiership club.
The 28-year-old joined the west London team from Leeds in 2006 and has since made over 180 appearances, scoring more than 50 tries.
And Care told the club's website: "I really am delighted. The re-signing process was done very quickly as there was never any doubt in my mind to go anywhere else.
"Harlequins is a club that I love. I'm very proud and honoured to play for and captain the team."
The scrum-half was a member of the side that won the Premiership in 2012 and has gone on to make 53 Test appearances for England.
Harlequins director of rugby, Conor O'Shea, added: "Danny is the ultimate game changer and has matured and grown in front of us all.
The re-signing process was done very quickly as there was never any doubt in my mind to go anywhere else.
"In Danny we see the Harlequins style stamped all over the way he approaches the game.
"Captaincy is another natural progression for him and I am looking forward to watching him kick on and become an even better player.
"In my opinion, with the skillset he possesses, he should go on to win 100 caps for England and win more silverware for the club."
