Conor O'Shea has made three changes to Italy's starting XV for their Six Nations clash with France in Marseille on Friday night.
The Azzurri are going in search of their first victory of the Championship and the trio of amendments all arrive in the pack.
Leonardo Ghiraldini, who has 91 caps to his name, will start at hooker and Andrea Lovotti is preferred to Nicola Quaglio at loosehead prop.
Both Ghiraldini and Lovotti were replacements against Scotland, with Luca Bigi and Quaglio set to enter the fray later in the game.
Simone Ferrari completes the starting front-row unit and retains his place at tighthead.
The final change to the starting XV sees Maxime Mbanda come into the back row.
The flanker, who plays his domestic rugby at Zebre, is poised to make his first start in the Six Nations.
Renato Giammarioli and Giovanni Licata are both unable to make the trip to Marseille due to injuries.
