France continue to be hit by injuries ahead of the RBS 6 Nations, with two more players forced to pull out of the squad on Tuesday.
Racing 92 hooker Camille Chat and Stade Francais back row Raphael Lakafia are out of France's opening match against England at Twickenham on February 4.
The French Rugby Federation says the players were ruled out following medical checks. Toulouse hooker Christopher Tolofua will come in for Chat, while Lakafia is not being replaced.
Loosehead prop Eddy Ben Arous and centre Wesley Fofana have already withdrawn from the squad, while France are also without experienced fly-half Francois Trinh-Duc, who is recovering from a broken arm.
Mathieu Bastareaud was called into the French squad on Monday to replace the luckless Henry Chavancy who had himself only been called into the squad on Sunday as a replacement for the injured Fofana.
