England head coach Eddie Jones has named his squad for the Autumn Internationals with Exeter's Sam Simmond earning his first call-up.

Exeter Chiefs backrow Sam Simmonds has received his maiden senior England call-up, while Denny Solomona has been recalled and flanker James Haskell left out of the 34-man squad.

The Sale wing is back in the squad, two months after being ejected from Eddie Jones' camp for late-night drinking.

Bath flanker Zach Mercer and Harlequins fly-half Marcus Smith have been included as 'apprentice players'.

Captain Dylan Hartley has been named in the squad after a citing complaint against him dismissed, while Wasps No 8 Nathan Hughes also makes the cut despite a two-week suspension for striking during Sunday afternoon's Champions Cup win over Harlequins.

Joe Marler and Kyle Sinckler, both currently suspended, have been omitted from the squad.

England will face Argentina, Australia and Samoa throughout November, all live on Sky Sports.

"Our first match against Argentina in the Old Mutual Wealth Series is a significant game for England and everything we have been doing in our training camps so far this season has been geared around getting the detail right in our preparation on how we want to play and win against them next month," Jones said.

"This will be the fourth time we have played against Argentina in the last 12 months and the last time we play them before 2019, so we want to make sure our record against them is 4-0."
