Chris Robshaw says England are focused on winning the Grand Slam.

Sale's Tommy Taylor, also a hooker, was named by head coach Eddie Jones as a travelling reserve, fuelling speculation Hartley may miss the game at the Stade de France.

But forwards coach Borthwick is adamant Hartley will lead the team out when they go in search of their first Grand Slam since 2003.

"Dylan's fine. He trained in the morning but was rested for the afternoon session and he's fine," said Borthwick.

"He's not carrying an injury, he's good. It was a case of monitoring loads and he was rested for the afternoon session.
