Nemani Nadolo will miss Canterbury Crusaders' Super Rugby quarter-final against the Lions in Johannesburg on Saturday.

The winger has not recovered from a hamstring injury suffered in defeat to Wellington at the weekend and will not travel to South Africa.

Fijian Nadolo leaves for French club Montpellier at the end of the season, and Saturday's 35-10 defeat to the Hurricanes could now turn out to be his last game for Crusaders.

New Zealand prop Joe Moody (neck) will again be missing this weekend, but scrum-half Andy Ellis is in Todd Blackadder's squad.

Ellis injured his calf in the warm-up for the Hurricanes game and was withdrawn from the line-up, but he is fit to travel along with Sam Whitelock, who was absent ill.
