Leolin Zas receives a red card after appearing to slip into Bernard Foley when challenging for the ball during Stormers' Super Rugby clash with the Waratahs

Stormers winger Leolin Zas was shown a red card for this hit, but he claims he slipped. Did the referee make the right call?

Zas was shown a red card in the 56th minute for a clumsy mid-air collision with Wallaby fly-half Bernard Foley, and the sending off came when the Stormers were 20-18 ahead. The South Africans were later 30-25 to the good with two minutes remaining when flanker Michael Hooper burrowed over the line to clinch a win for the Waratahs in a heated game at Newlands.

Red cards are always contentious, and this was no different as Zas claimed he slipped when trying to go up for the ball. The referee was unmoved, and the Waratahs used the extra man to their advantage as they came from behind for the win.
