Wales wing George North is "raring to go" for Saturday's Six Nations clash with Scotland after returning to training, according to defence coach Shaun Edwards.
The 24-year-old missed the 21-16 loss to England on February 11 after failing to recover from a dead leg suffered in Wales' opening game against Italy.
However, the Northampton back trained on Tuesday and is in contention to return to Rob Howley's starting XV for the match at Murrayfield.
"We are looking very healthy all round at the moment," Edwards said. "We are definitely healthier than we were in the England week.
"We are selecting from a position of strength. George North has trained today and is raring to go.
"George's defence has definitely improved over the last 12 months. It was always the work-on for him.
"He has worked very hard on it, and the last 12 months it is finally clicking with him.
"Then when he gets the ball we want that X-Factor from him which we saw in the first Test in New Zealand last summer."
Edwards is also happy with the progress made by Taulupe Faletau, who missed the opening fixture in Rome but came off the bench against England following a knee injury.
Scotland claimed a thrilling win over Ireland on the opening weekend at Murrayfield before narrowly losing to France and Edwards is expecting a tough test from Vern Cotter's side.
He added: "They came within a hair's breadth of making the World Cup semi-final in 2015 and have gathered momentum over the last couple of seasons.
"We are very aware of the threat from Scotland and Stuart Hogg is talk of the town at the moment.
"But games are won and lost up front and that advantage line will be pivotal."
