Sky Sports will bring you plenty of rugby action from the best competitions in the world as we broadcast 11 live games this weekend.

It's an early start on Friday as we have two Super Rugby games starting with an all-New Zealand affair as the Highlanders take on the Blues. Both sides will be looking to start their Super rugby campaigns off with a bang but there is also a trophy up for grabs as the play for the Gordon Hunter Memorial Trophy - who coached both sides.

There are plenty of stars on show in this game including Ben Smith and Waisake Naholo for the Highlanders and Sonny Bill Williams and Rieko Ioane for the Blues.

We then head over the Tasman Sea to Australia where the Rebels and the Reds lock horns. The Rebels have named 10 internationals in their side with nine current Wallabies and Japanese No.8 Amanaki Mafi starting.

Will Genia - who played 114 times for the Reds - will make his first start for the Rebels against his old club when they clash, live on Sky Sports Action.

Munster host Conference A leaders Glasgow Warriors at Irish Independent Park on Friday night in the big game of the weekend in the Guinness PRO14.

Live PRO14 Rugby Union

It is set to be a fascinating encounter with Glasgow having lost just one of their 15 PRO14 games so far this season. Glasgow beat Munster 37-10 at Scotstoun in round four but the province have won their last six matches at home.

Live Women's Six Nations Rugby Union

Saturday is Super Rugby day with five games including the Sunwolves taking on the Brumbies and the Waratahs hosting the Stormers. Defending champions the Crusaders are also in action as they host the Chiefs in what should be a cracking game.

The Crusaders will be led by Sam Whitelock and includes nine All Blacks including Ryan Crotty and Codie Taylor, while Damian McKenzie will start at fly-half for the Chiefs with Charlie Ngatai in the No.15 jersey. Brodie Retallick gives the Chiefs plenty of power up front and his tussle with Whitelock should be something special.

Live Super Rugby

The Super Rugby action keeps on coming as we also have the Lions against Los Jaguares and the Bulls hosting the Hurricanes.

On Sunday we have two Top 14 clashes as Toulouse and Brive go head-to-head followed by La Rochelle v Toulon.

Live Top 14 Rugby Union

Toulouse produced a superb performance last time out as they galloped to a 52-25 win over Agen. They will be full of confidence as they welcome a troubled Brive side who are third from bottom on the Top 14 table.

On the other end of the table, fourth-placed Toulon will be looking to leapfrog La Rochelle who are one place ahead of them in third.

Live Top 14 Rugby Union

La Rochelle will be disappointed with the 19-12 loss to play-off rivals Racing 92 last weekend but Toulon romped to a 43-5 triumph over Stade Francais thanks to a Chris Ashton hat-trick.
