Saracens' Champions Cup match against Clermont-Auvergne will take place on Monday having been postponed due to "adverse weather" conditions surrounding Allianz Park.

The game was postponed on Sunday December 10, but will now kick-off at 5:30pm on Monday, and take place behind closed doors.

A statement from European Professional Club Rugby said: "With continuing adverse weather conditions expected in the vicinity of the stadium, it has been decided that due to health and safety concerns, the match will be played behind closed doors and no spectators will be permitted to attend."

The two sides met in the final of last year's competition, with the Premiership side earning a 28-17 victory to claim the title for a second year in a row.

Saracens have continued their impressive form in Europe and lead Pool 2 after winning their opening two games, securing try bonuses in each of those games.

Clermont, who are eighth in the French Top 14, also have a 100 per cent record in the competition after two games and trail the English side by a point.
