Glasgow players take a bow after demolishing Leicester 43-0 to make the Champions Cup quarter-finals for the first time.

15. Simon Zebo (Munster)

Tough to separate Simon Zebo and Stuart Hogg, with the latter having a big say in Glasgow's thrashing of the Tigers on Saturday night.

However, in the other fixture of Pool 1, Zebo proved too much for the Racing 92 defence to handle. The full-back broke the deadlock late in the first half as his side secured a home quarter-final with a 22-10 victory in Limerick.

14. David Smith (Castres)

David Smith played in the No 11 jersey against Leinster but we've moved him over to the right wing to accommodate Montpellier's Nemani Nadolo in the same team.

Smith terrorised the Irishmen on Friday night, making 19 carries for almost 100 metres on his way to scoring two tries.

The winger was involved in most of Castres' threatening attack, and almost aided his side in claiming a shock win over Pool 4's dominant force.

13. Will Addison (Sale Sharks)

Sale went into their game against Scarlets on the back of 10 consecutive defeats, but they did not play like a side trying to claim any sort of cagey win.

Addison was in free-flowing form against the Welsh region, beating nine defenders and scoring a try in 12 carries that brought about 141 metres worth of territorial gain.

12. Gael Fickou (Toulouse)

With the unfortunate injury to Wesley Fofana, it may be time for Gael Fickou to add significantly to his 24 caps for France.

Still only 22 years old, the centre was unstoppable against Connacht, carrying the ball 13 times on his way to making four breaks and beating seven defenders.

The midfielder also offered 12 tackles as well as a crucial try which helped his side progress to the quarter-finals. A place in Guy Noves' side to play England at Twickenham in two weeks' time surely beckons for Fickou.

11. Nemani Nadolo (Montpellier)

Nemani Nadolo runs straight through five of Northampton's players to score this beastmode try!

Ahead of the last round of the pool stages, Montpellier needed a bonus-point win as a bare minimum if they were to progress. The other results across the competition ultimately cost them a play-off place, but Jake White's men played their part in a four-try victory over Saints in France.

Nemani Nadolo was the embodiment of Montpellier's drive on the day, carrying the ball 18 times for 176 metres; an average nearing 10 metres per carry.

The Fijian made five breaks and beat 13 Northampton defenders - the majority of which were tossed aside in one of the two tries scored by Nadolo.

10. Finn Russel (Glasgow Warriors)

A nod to Owen Farrell who marshalled Saracens in typically stoic fashion in a closely-fought encounter against Toulon, but our No 10 jersey goes to Warriors' Finn Russell.

Russell's three missed kicks at goal was the only smudge in an otherwise near-perfect performance in Leicester. Many of Europe's best fly-halves have come unstuck at Welford Road over the years but the 24-year-old organised his backline and ran strongly with the ball - his 12 carries afforded Glasgow 82 metres, the most by anyone in the team.

The playmaker also topped the charts with three breaks, and beat three Tigers defenders in a match-winning day at the office.

9. Antoine Dupont (Castres)

Highlights of the final Champions Cup group stage clash between Leinster and Castres

Clermont's Morgan Parra was clinical against the Chiefs, but Dupont had an enormous impact on proceedings against Leinster on Friday night. The half-back scored a try and carried 10 times for 41 metres - second only to winger David Smith for metres made by a Castres player.

Dupont also put in 13 tackles (joint second in the team) and forced a turnover in an equally effective defensive effort.

Castres were thrashed 33-15 in their first-round fixture against Leinster, making their 24-all draw over the weekend - with almost nothing to play in terms of quarter-final stakes - all the more impressive, and it was well led by Dupont.

1. Dave Kilcoyne (Munster)

Came on early in the second-half for James Cronin and was excellent in the set-piece as well as the loose. He made nine carries, beat three defenders and was solid in defence as well.

2. Fraser Brown (Glasgow Warriors)

One of several Glasgow forward who turned up and really took it to Leicester. The hooker did plenty of damage with some massive carries and was solid in the set-piece as well.

3. Zander Fagerson (Glasgow Warriors)

With WP Nel out injured Fagerson showed why he is the man to start for Scotland in the Six Nations with one heck of a shift at the coal face.

4. Tim Swinson (Glasgow Warriors)

A man-of-the-match performance from Swinson who epitomised everything good about Glasgow as they booked a place in the Champions Cup quarter-finals for the first time in their history. Carried strongly all day long, got his tackles in and scored a try.

5. Sébastien Vahaamahina (Clermont)

It had to be some performance to keep out Glasgow's Jonny Gray but Vahaamahina certainly delivered. Not only did he bring a whole lot of physicality to the game with some big caries and massive tackles, but also showed some great skills. His superb support play set up Alex Lapandry's try after a sweeping move that almost went the length of the field.

6. Joe Tekori (Toulouse)

A huge game for Tekori who was exceptional for Toulouse against Connacht. Was absolutely everywhere and showed plenty of muscle in attack and defence. Powered over for the third try as well after a good lineout drive.

7. Ryan Wilson (Glasgow)

An eye-catching display from Wilson who was at his rampaging best. Made 14 carries and also put in eight big tackles. Showed some lovely hands to get Mark Bennett over for his try and then got on the scoreboard himself with a try of his own.

8. Jackson Wray (Saracens)

A fierce battle between CJ Stander and Wray for the No 8 jersey with Wray just pipping the Munsterman to the post after his heroics against a desperate Toulon. Wray was everywhere for Sarries against an imposing pack and carried exceptionally well. He was their go-to man with 16 carries and also made a big impact in defence.
