Who are England's new boys?

Nathan Hughes of Wasps breaks away with the ball

Who are the uncapped players that Eddie Jones has called up to his England squad?

Eddie Jones has named a 45-man squad for the autumn internationals against South Africa, Fiji and Australia - all live on Sky Sports - with 37 of them heading to Brighton for a three day training camp.

Jones has had to deal with the likes of James Haskell, Jack Clifford and Manu Tuilagi being ruled out, while England captain Dylan Hartley and Owen Farrell face a race to be ready for November.

Seven new boys will be part of the training camp, while Saracens prospect Alex Lozowski, who will not be in Brighton, is included in a 45-man elite player.

We take a look at the England rookies:

Alex Lozowski

Position: Fly-half
Club: Saracens
Age: 23
Weight: 14st 7lb
Height: 6ft

The former Chelsea academy player has been impressive for Saracens after joining them from Wasps in the summer. The injury to Owen Farrell has seen Lozowski take over the No 10 jersey for Sarries where he has impressed Jones and gets the nod ahead of Danny Cipriani as a result. Lozowski has a lovely left boot and plenty of running skills.

The 23-year-old qualifies for Italy through his grandmother, but has thrown his cap into the England ring and if Farrell fails to recover,  could well be making an appearance at Twickenham in the autumn.

Sam Jones

Wasps Sam Jones will be eligible to play in the Premiership semi-finals

Position: Back Row
Club:  Wasps
Age: 24
Weight: 16st 12lbs
Height: 6ft 3in

With James Haskell out injured, Jones could be the man to take over the No 7 jersey. Eddie Jones has been clear that he is not looking for a traditional No 7 but rather a destructive, defence-type player. Jones has a phenomenal work rate at club level and fits this mould perfectly.

Nathan Hughes

Position:  Back Row
Club:  Wasps
Age: 25
Weight: 19st 7lbs
Height: 6ft 5in

Hughes has been a player on the England radar for some time and is added to the England training squad for the first time after qualifying on residency grounds. The Fijian born No 8 is a big ball-carrying forward in the same mould of current England No 8 Billy Vunipola. Hughes has plenty of skills and is also a lineout option and will be a real challenger for Vunipola.

Mike Williams

Position: Back row/Lock
Club: Leicester
Age: 24
Weight: 18 st 3 lb
Height:  6ft 5in
Weight: 18 st 3 lb

The Zimbabwean-born Williams normally plays at No 6 or lock, but could well find himself in the England No 7 jersey. He is big and strong with the abrasive defensive skills that England are looking for in a No 7 at the moment. Williams joined the Tigers from Worcester in 2015 but broke the same arm twice which ruled him out for much of the season, but he has been in great form this year for Leicester.

Dan Robson

Position:  Scrum-half
Club: Wasps
Age: 24
Height: 5ft 8in
Weight: 12st 8lbs

Competing for the Wasps No 9 jersey with Joe Simpson has certainly paid dividends for Robson, who has risen to the challenge.

Robson caught the eye for the Saxons in South Africa - especially in the first game and has developed a solid game with a strong boot, a good pass and excellent running lines.

Ben Te'o

Position: Centre
Club: Worcester
Age: 29
Height: 6ft 2in
Weight: 16st 9lb

Like Hughes, Te'o has been England radar for some time. The former rugby league star represented Samoa at the 2008 Rugby League World Cup as well as winning the NRL Grand Final with the Rabbitohs, and has represented Queensland in State of Origin. Te'o has worked hard at the 15-man game having impressed at Leinster where he helped them reach the PRO12 final and was awarded the club's Player of the Year award.

Joe Marchant

Position: Centre
Club: Harlequins
Age: 20
Height:  6ft
Weight: 14st 6lb

The 20-year-old has not looked out of place at Quins alongside the likes of Jamie Roberts and Nick Evans and has really impressed  with his temperament and skills.

He was part of the triumphant England team that won the World Rugby Under-20 title, where he dazzled with his quick feet and eye for the gap.

Josh Beaumont

Position: Back row/ lock
Club: Sale
Age: 20
Height:  6ft 7in
Weight: 17st 11lb

Beaumont is the son of former England captain, Bill, and has been impressive for his club Sale Sharks - he was voted Players' Player of the Year in 2014-15 and was named as their new club captain when he signed a three-year deal in the summer.

Beaumont was called into the England squad last season but a shoulder injury prevented him winning his first cap. He may be a big, strong forward, but as a youngster he played either centre or fly-half and those skills, combined with his strength and size makes him a very promising prospect.
