Fresh from their Six Nations Grand Slam triumph, England Women are now focusing on preparing for the World Cup.
England lifted the World Cup trophy in 2014 after beating Canada 21-9 and will kick off their 2017 campaign against Spain in Dublin on 9 August.
Head coach Simon Middleton says the team are in a good place after the Six Nations, but there is still plenty to work on.
"We are really into the bones of it now - we get the squad together on a regular basis and we have the tour to New Zealand coming up at the start of June," said Middleton on Englandrugby.com
"We are starting to get things in gear and have one last push towards the World Cup. Everybody knows what is at stake and what the score is - yes we did fantastically well in the Six Nations but this is very much about what people do now to get on that New Zealand tour and then beyond that to make the World Cup squad.
"We want an ultra competitive environment and and you can see that in the girls - they are in a good place but they know they are in a fight for the shirts."
