Former St Helens winger Dean McGilvray is set to make his home debut in the Good Friday encounter, while forwards Ian Sibbit and Rob Parker both face their old club.
Warrington have scrum-half Michael Monaghan back from a two-match absence with a hamstring injury.
Lee Briers is expected to revert to stand-off in place of the departed Martin Gleeson, who left to join Wigan during the week.
Skipper Adrian Morley returns after being rested for the cup tie with York, but full-back Chris Riley is still out with a leg injury and there is no place yet for new signing Richard Mathers.
