Lewis Palfrey has been named in Salford City Reds' 19-man squad to face Wakefield on Friday.
Palfrey, a product of the club's youth system, is included for the first time this season as the Reds attempt to bounce back from last week's 62-20 mauling at the hands of Warrington.
However, they will have to do so without Jordan Turner, who misses out with a back injury.
John Wilshere, meanwhile, needs six points to reach 700 for the Reds.
The Wildcats have made one change to the squad on duty in last week's 20-12 defeat to Castleford.
Aaron Murphy is ruled out after undergoing surgery on the fractured jaw he suffered against the Tigers.
James Davey replaces Murphy in the initial 19-man squad.
Salford squad: Wilshere, Henry, Littler, Palfrey, McGilvray, Smith, Ratchford, Cashmere, Alker, Stapleton, Adamson, Sidlow, Swain, Paul, Sibbit, Leuluai, Nash, Fitzpatrick, Myler
Wakefield squad: Blaymire, Atkins, Brough, Demetriou, Drew, Snitch, Wilkes, Grix, Obst , Stosic, Bibey, Henderson, Gleeson, Leo-Latu, Korkidas, Ferguson, Moore, Southernwood, Davey
