Warrington's Ashton Sims and Wigan's Ben Flower will miss this weekend's Challenge Cup quarter-finals through suspension.

Sims, who recently served a one-match ban for punching, admitted making a high tackle on Catalans forward Jason Baitieri during the Wolves' 20-18 win over the Dragons when he appeared in front of a Rugby Football League disciplinary tribunal.

He was given a two-match ban, which will rule him out of Friday's tie against Widnes and Warrington's next league game against Hull KR, and a £300 fine.

Flower will sit out Wigan's cup tie against Castleford on Saturday after being given a one-match ban after pleading guilty to making a dangerous throw on Widnes hooker Aaron Heremaia.

The Wales international, who was also fined £300, was initially charged by the RFL's match-review panel with a grade C offence but that was reduced to grade B at the hearing.

Wakefield hooker Scott Moore is free to play in his side's quarter-final against Huddersfield on Thursday after he was found not guilty of a grade B dangerous tackle during his side's home defeat by Leeds.

Moore, who was just back from a six-match ban, denied the offence when he appeared in front of a disciplinary tribunal.
