Morgan Escare has committed his future to Wigan Warriors after a penning a new deal, keeping him at the DW Stadium until the end of the 2020 season.
The news comes just 48 hours after Wigan announced a new long-term deal for England stand-off George Williams.
Escare had a year left on his contract with Catalans Dragons, but was allowed to join Wigan on a 12-month deal last October after losing his place in the team.
"I am really happy here at Wigan and feel at home," Escare said.
"The fans, players and coaching staff have been great with me and I am really enjoying it here.
"I'm enjoying my rugby too and happy with the way I am playing. It's great to have this new contract agreed and I am excited for the future."
Escare has proved to be an inspired signing as a deputy for injured full-back Sam Tomkins.
He kicked four goals and a drop goal in Wigan's 29-18 win over St Helens on Friday to take his points tally so far to 69 in 10 appearances, including their World Club Challenge victory over Cronulla.
Wigan Warriors rugby director Kris Radlinski said: "I'd like to pay tribute to our coaching staff and to Morgan, who has won a lot of friends during his time at Wigan owing to his attitude and commitment.
"He came here with a desire to prove people wrong and has worked very hard, along with our coaching staff.
"He feels at home here, he's learning 'Wiganese', and the Wigan fans have really taken to him too. It's great news that we've been able to secure his services."
