Wigan new boy Frank-Paul Nu'uausala has been banned for one match for punching St Helens' Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook.

The former New Zealand international faced a Rugby Football league disciplinary hearing on Tuesday after he was charged with a Grade A offence.

Nu'uausala denied the charge but was found guilty by an independent tribunal, banned and fined £300.

The Warriors will now be without their new forward for the Challenge Cup semi-final against Hull on Friday night.
