Huddersfield wil be desperate to bounce back in style against Quins after last week's agonising last-minute defeat at champions Leeds.
Giants coach Nathan Brown is set to hand a debut to scrum-half Kyle Wood, who recently returned from a loan spell at Castleford, in the place of Luke Robinson.
David Fa'alogo, Brett Hodgson, Jamahl Lolesi, Keith Mason and Andy Raleigh are still sidelined, so Jamie Cording, who has yet to play in Super League, and winger Jermaine McGillvary are added to the squad.
The Giants' England prob Eorl Crabtree is hoping for a quick response following last week's disappointment. He told the club's official website: "The performance was very encouraging and the commitment that we showed to each other was great, we really worked hard.
Improve
"We were obviously disappointed with the end result... It's something that we will look to improve on and we stand a better chance of winning those games after the experience of last Friday.
"Harlequins are definitely a very dangerous team, they have got a lot of talented young players coming through and they all have a dig for each other.
"They work hard, they're trying to impress the coach and give themselves a shot. It makes it a very difficult game for us."
Harlequins skipper Rob Purdham is in line to return from a shoulder injury, but front rower Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook misses out with a leg problem and is replaced by Londoner Dave Williams.
The match will mark the 100th appearance of Quins stand-off Danny Orr, who announced this week he will return to Castleford next season.
