Bradford face Castleford in Sunday's West Yorkshire derby looking for a fourth win in five games.
The Bulls have worked their way up to the fringe of the play-off places after a disastrous start to the campaign.
But victories over Catalans Dragons, Warrington Wolves and Harlequins have taken them to four wins and four losses for the season.
And despite the 44-2 reversal at Leeds on March 20, the signs suggest Steve McNamara's side have turned a corner.
Full-back Michael Platt failed to make an appearance against Quins following his hamstring injury and has been left out of the Bulls squad, while Terry Newton will serve the first of his two match suspension for striking Rhinos hooker Matt Diskin in the defeat at Headingley.
Jamie Langley and Matthew James come into the squad in the meantime, as the Bulls look to continue their recent improvement in results.
Struggle
Castleford have conceded a whopping 237 points so far this season and are still yet to add to their victory against Leeds.
But they pushed Warrington Wolves close at the Jungle last time out and will have been buoyed by that display.
Veteran second-rower Awen Guttenbeil and winger Michael Wainwright join the same 17 that did so well against the Wolves and will both undergo late fitness tests.
There is no relegation this season, but Terry Matterson's side need to start picking up points soon if they are to stand any chance of reaching the play-offs.
