Verdict

Cincuenta Pasos has gone up 7lb for landing an apprentice race on soft ground at Salisbury but it will be a surprise if he's not in contention again. The lightly-raced Cornborough has only had five starts and never run on anything but soft ground but Dr Red Eye scored over this trip at Epsom last summer on fast going and is 3lb lower. He finished just over a length behind Breakable at Catterick last week and the pair are likely to get involved here. WESTWOOD HOE ran three times on the all-weather at the backend of last year for John Gosden, winning a maiden at Lingfield. He made a very satisfactory debut for Tony Coyle at Pontefract, only caught in the closing stages after making the running over that mile, so is taken to lead all here.
