He looked to be running into form at Beverley last week when not getting the run of the race and can finally get back to winning ways. Frederic completed a double at around this trip but shot up the weights as a consequence, though he also didn't get the best of runs at Pontefract last time. Vercingetorix won over hurdles last month and completed a double on the Flat at Thirsk when landing a minor handicap for which he's up 3lb. Euchen Glen will be tackling the trip for the first time but landed a similar class handicap over 1m5f at Ayr before finding the Class 2 Old Newton Cup at Haydock too much to handle.
