A good claimer and we like the claims of Cindertrack versus Calcutta and Bailieborough. Jamie Osborne's representative was a disappointing favourite last time out but that was posted a day after landing a Catterick handicap and the gelding is better judged on that effort. Ridden handily, he does possess a willing attitude to the game and could well find the track at York to her liking. Calcutta is not the easiest horse in the world to win with but he is sure to be arriving late on the scene. A credit to connections with big runs in the top handicaps, it is almost two years since he consented to get his head infront. Bailieborough was a regular at this level and will have the services of Stephen Donohoe. Not disgraced in handicaps, he has form on a fast surface and should run well. Top Dirham has ability although injury has often afflicted his inclination to show it. Often well supported, he should be watched in the market for any positive clues. Cindertrack looks to have obvious claims on the book and secures the nomination.
