Golden Lyra won in this grade at Saint-Cloud last year and will have needed her run at Nottingham in the spring when behind Pink Carnation. Electric Eyes is interesting despite having a first run since second in the Rockfel as a two-year-old while Long Ago is worth a try at this much higher level having won both starts this season. Sparks Fly has been even more prolific having won six in a row since beaten off a mark of 59 in a Wolverhampton handicap in March but this may be a step too far. QUEEN FOR YOU isn’t totally certain to be suited by this step up in trip but her narrow defeat in this grade over a mile here in the spring is the stand-out recent form and she probably ran up to that standard when fifth in the Coronation Stakes at Ascot last month.
