      Verdict

      MAKAWEE finished in front of The Resdev Way when just missing out over course and distance a fortnight ago. David O’Meara’s charge gets another chance in this racing off a similar mark. Orin Swift has placed over today’s trip since winning over 1m6f at Nottingham though would prefer some cut in the ground while Grandee was raised 9lb for winning over 1m2f on the all-weather early in the year and hasn’t threatened since. Always Resolute was placed in a lower grade over 2m at Ripon last month while Yabass has a shout on an earlier third at the same track and is fitted with additional headgear for this. Le Maitre Chat scored over track and trip when last in action but this is much tougher.
