This is a competitive handicap but Brunch, National League and Mischief Star all go on the shortlist. Abstemious blew the start when favourite over track and trip earlier this month and finished behind eventual winner Black Caspian and La Trinidad but is better than that run suggests. Commanche Falls and Cruising are recent winners and Rovaniemi placed in a higher grade at Yarmouth but it’s about time JUMAIRA BAY was getting his head in front. Twice unlucky at Doncaster this year, he’s been raised another 2lb but deserves a change of fortune.
