Verdict

It's impossible to find one without a chance in this wide-open renewal. Sir Michael Stoute has a very powerful hand with the very progressive Gospel Choir, who showed admirable battling qualities to land a similar handicap over 1m4f at Haydock, and Monshak, who was ideally suited to this trip when scoring at Chester and is improving with each run. Sir Graham Wade was behind Gospel Choir at Haydock but today's longer trip looks in his favour. His trainer, Mark Johnston, has another with a chance in Courtesy Call, who has been progressing through the ranks and has already won over this trip. GABRIAL THE GREAT was also behind in that Haydock event but there are reasons to believe he can reverse the form. He was travelling nicely and about to challenge when a gap closed and he never got back into contention. His pedigree suggests he'll be even better at this trip and he gets the nod under Kieren Fallon. Guarantee still looked inexperienced when beating Choisan at Ripon and there's every chance he'll be better over today's trip while Flashman is sure to give his best and has won the only twice he's raced over the trip. Future Security is an unknown quantity having never raced beyond 1m2f.
