Mister Cosmi Sprung something of a surprise for his stable when landing a valuable prize at Goodwood last month and could be given a good chance if repeating that run however, he is penalised for that effort and is yet to race on ground softer than good to firm.
Rock Of Gibraltar (IRE) Back to winning way last time in a Group 3 at the Curragh, after an uncomfortable passage in the Coventry Stakes saw him lose contention 2 furlongs out. Highly thought of by his handler and should go well.
Anna Walhaan (IRE) Did not build on his promising debut when chasing home Mister Cosmi at Goodwood last time, but has shown plenty of ability and may reverse the form on 5lb better terms.
Ho Choi Made a very promising debut at Ayr in June, and should come on for the run. A market move may be significant.
Kulachi (IRE) Improved for the step up to this trip when taking a Listed race at Newbury last month, and has every chance of confirming his superiority over Mister Cosmi here, one to seriously consider.
Prince Dayjur (USA) Should go well and may reverse the form with Mister Cosmi but may be vulnerable to a less exposed type.
Saddad (USA) Made a very impressive debut at Yarmouth and this well related individual should take the step up in trip in his stride, another for the short-list.
Twilight Blues (IRE) Highly thought of by his stable and should be winning again in time, however he looks to have a little to find with Rock Of Gibraltar after their meeting in the Coventry and is best watched.
Waldenburg (USA) Caught the imagination when short-heading Dubai Destination at Newbury on his debut. The David Loder inmate has since given the form a strong boost, so a repeat of his racecourse bow would see him go very close here and he may well be the one to beat.
