Verdict
Top-class sprinter BATTAASH is proving as good as ever this year. He won the King George Stakes last term before landing this and follows the same path having won the Goodwood event for the fourth time last month with Ornate back in third. Charlie Hills’ charge beat a couple of three-year-olds in this contest last season with A'ali and Art Power looking the main threats this time as the former added to a Sandown success with victory in the Group 2 Sapphire at the Curragh and the latter also won in Ireland when landing a Group 3 contest over 6f at Naas. Moss Gill beat Que Amoro to win the City Walls Listed sprint over track and trip and should have the measure of Emaraaty Ana and Kurious of the remainder.
