Verdict

CATCH THE PADDY was elevated into Group 2 company after landing a nursery here but couldn't cope and a return to calmer waters can see him back on the winning trail. He's never raced beyond 6f unlike Onight, whose victories at Newcastle and Kempton have been over this trip. He makes his handicap debut as does Zu Run, whose second to Lord Uhtred at Kempton hasn't been boosted by the winner. New Endeavour won a nursery on the latter track before running well in the Goffs Million at the Curragh while in a race where nothing can be ruled out Ramazan, an excellent third in that latter event, can go well on his return to action.
