Champion Lodge is on a long losing sequence but has dropped down to a most attractive mark and shaped as though he was ready to strike when a close runner-up behind Beauchamp Pilot at Newbury. J R Stevenson is another who is on a handy mark at present and looked unlucky when fourth behind Dumaran at Epsom last week. Celebration Town had Tedstale a length behind when third and fourth at Haydock last time and there should be little between the pair once again while Prairie Wolf is a consistent type at this level and should go well once again despite top weight.
