Verdict

Several top yards have more than one runner in this, which complicates calculations. William Haggas and Adam Farragher teamed up to land this 12 months ago so Lordship goes on the shortlist. He is proven over the trip and finished ahead of The Goat when fourth in the Melrose here in August. Stablemate Kingfisher King is among the least exposed and can also go well while the consistent Dreams Adozen is preferred to Tenerife Sunshine and Knockbrex of the Johnston trio. Cavern Club has been in good form over 1m4f but flopped over this trip at Sandown. URBAN OUTLOOK beat the subsequent winner Dreams Adozen over a longer trip at Chester and followed up at Haydock. He may still be improving and could be worth sticking with despite the switch to a quicker surface. Spectacular Style will enjoy conditions while Insanity was impressive given a more searching test of stamina at Ffos Las.
