An extremely tough contest with many of the entries in top form. David O'Meara saddled five runners for a similar race here last month but the remainder, including Al Khan and Alejandro, needn't have bothered as So Beloved won with real authority from previous course winner Alfred Hutchinson. The assessor has taken note and hit him with an 8lb rise though that's unlikely to prevent a big run. One Word More ran well in fourth though looks held but Free Code continues to thrive and showed real courage to battle back after being headed at Doncaster. Instant Attraction has done his recent winning on soft ground but all conditions come alike to TWIN APPEAL, who has now won four of his last six and is still progressing judged by his latest victory at Doncaster. He's handed the vote as Withernsea, who is running well, prefers a bit of cut in the ground.
