Vainglory hasn't won since picking up this race last year but goes for the double off a lower mark. He had OSTEOPATHIC REMEDY behind in last year's renewal but the latter arrives on the back of a win in testing ground at Ayr and is fancied to go in again in his current mood off a 3lb higher mark. Lord Aeryn has a bit to find with the selection on latest running while Anderiego and Able Master would prefer a faster suface but Jo' Burg has decent claims off today's mark after a solid effort at Redcar. A 6lb penalty may be the undoing of recent Musselburgh winner No Poppy but Vito Volterra could go close with a repeat of his latest second to Anton Chigurh in similar company at Haydock. Bancnuanaheireann could prove best of the rest.
