Verdict

The betting suggested VIVA VERGLAS was expected to go close at Musselburgh last time and he duly obliged with an impressive five length victory. Today's opposition will need to improve if they're to keep tabs on him and David Barron's colt looks the one to beat. Classical Diva also scored at Musselburgh last time and that looks stronger form than Innocently's recent win at Carlisle for which he carries a penalty. Ripon winner Hello Beautiful needs to reverse earlier running with Lord Clyde, although she may well do so as the latter disappointed again at Beverley last month and the remaining pair are harder to fancy.
