Royal Mezyan won the inaugural running of this in 2013 for William Haggas and AJAYA is the one to beat this year. Beaten three lengths in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot last month, he'll start a short price today. Top of The Bank and Celebration should be winning ordinary maiden races before long judged on recent placed efforts but it's difficult to see them troubling the selection and Powderhorn may prove a bigger threat. Mark Johnston's newcomer is related to winners and is entered in next month's Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes here.
