One Word More is a consistent sort and finished in the frame yet again in a Listed race over course and distance in May, but he has a poor win ratio. Firmament is relatively unexposed but has shown his best form on the all-weather, while Miss Van Gogh, Baraweez and Ghalib look to be in the grip of the handicapper at the moment. Sir Mark Prescott’s Celestial Path is obviously respected, with a fifth in the 2000 Guineas to his name, but the draw could have been kinder to him. SWIFT EMPEROR’s form may not look outstanding, but he is lightly raced and has valid excuses for his last three runs having been badly hampered at Ripon, outstayed over an unsuitable 1m2f at Redcar and then caught up in an early speed duel at Ayr. Gabrial's Kaka is having an excellent season and is capable of defying a 3lb rise for his latest win at Ayr to chase the winner home.
