Once again, this is a very competitive handicap, we will opt for Calcutta ahead of Flighty Fellow, Vicious Knight and Selective, although there are plenty in with chances. Calcutta has been a revelation of late and, clearly in good heart and, also, given that he goes particualrly well for his rider and is a course and distance winner, can go well. Dunaskin is also on a role having won his last three races, although a nine-pound rise for the most-recent of them will not make life easy. Welcome Stranger also comes here in good heart following a good Ascot win, although -with his six-pound penalty, he is not sure to confirm form with the runner-up that day, Flighty Fellow, who is nine pounds better off for just over three lengths and is entitled to his supporters. The likes of Nashaab, who is not too far above a winning mark, Vicious Knight, who attracted money when beaten last time, Selective, who is back to a winning mark, and the lightly-raced Luca Cumani runner, Literatim, are others that could well attract support but, for the winner, we will side with Calcutta.
