The experienced runners don't look anything special here and so we will take a chance with the Michael Jarvis newcomer Ebn Malk, Robert Burns and Mardood look to be the best alternatives. The selection is owned by Sheik Ahmed Al Maktoum who tends to send his better horses to Jarvis. This one is superbly bred being by King's Best out of a Roi Danzig mare and any market support would be more than encouraging. John Gosden tends to land plenty of back-end maidens and Robert Burns also boasts an impressive pedigree. This 120 thousand Guineas purchase should also be monitored closely in the betting. The once raced Mardood is from a top stable and should be capable of plenty of improvement. The best of the rest could be Astrodome but on this occasion we will go with another debutante and plump for Ebn Malk.
