In depth
Verdict
Alabama Spirit can land the opener at the main expense of Victorian Princess and Hucking Harmony. The selection has shown plenty of promise on her two runs to date and she was not beaten far by Bohobe last time at Catterick. She goes on the ground and although she is not ideally drawn, she overcame a poor draw to run a blinder last time and we will back her to do so again here. Victorian Princess ran too free early on at Lingfield last time out but her stable have to be respected in these type of events and she does have a good draw so she may be capable of better today. Hucking Harmony ran well in a nursery at Lingfield last time and a reproduction of that effort would make her competitive here, while Lady Maya is an interesting newcomer and could be worth a look in the market. However, we will stick with Alabama Spirit who looks a solid bet.
