Verdict

ART SCHOLAR has found form with a vengeance this month, running away with a couple of low-grade handicaps including one over course and distance. He's been raised a stone as a consequence but such was the decisive nature of those successes that he is taken to complete the hat-trick. Hypnotic Gaze is a useful dual purpose sort and scored over timber at Uttoxeter only last weekend so arrives here on a high and has a turf mark 7lb lower than his all-weather rating. He rates the danger on form as Media Hype hasn't shown much in three maidens though Cumani handicap debutants can never be ignored, especially in a low-grade contest such as this.
