Verdict

Santo Prince is the type to improve with experience but will be qualified for nurseries after this and that's probably where his immediate future lies. There are one or two nicely-bred newcomers in this including 40,000gns yearling A Certain Romance and Bartack, who is half-brother to a juvenile winner in Italy. But Luca Cumani's two-year-olds often need a run so we'll take him on with Roger Varian's ROCKY GROUND, who has some fancy entries later in the year and cost £105,000 - he should have the pace for this.
