      Verdict

      LONG AWAITED can take top honours ahead of Above All. Michael Jarvis has a 36% strike-rate at the track with his two-year-old's and this Pivotal colt showed enough on his debut at Leicester to warrant the selection today. Above All improved from his debut run at Kempton when second to a promising sort at Newbury and the form has a solid feel to it so he rates the main threat, although writing off the challenge of potential improvers Orthodox Lad or Twinkled would not be a wise move. The other to mention is First Mohican, a newcomer from Warren Place. Henry Cecil's son of Tobougg has plenty of class in his bloodlines and the market should help guide to his chance on debut.
