A fascinating novice event on paper as the major contenders step up to 7f. Hopefully the market will help to sort out the two Appleby newcomers who are taken on by a trio of interesting debutants, notably the Sea The Stars colt Alazhir who represents the Gosdens and is a rare midweek ride for Dettori. Jockey bookings for the Godolphin duo indicate that ONE NATION, a son of Dubawi, is the stable selection so he gets the nod. The market should also assist with Shahbaz and Twilight Guest while Zara's Return, a decent fourth last time, looks best of the pair to have run but needs to improve again.
