In depth

Verdict

Disdainful has changed stables since a winning start over an extended 7f at Ffos Las for which he's penalised. FARIBA scored over the trip at Kempton and was taking on much stronger company in soft ground at Goodwood next time. She can return to winning ways as Almarin already looks as though he needs further. City Cyclone was staying on over 7f at Newbury so the extra looks certain to suit but the Germany-bred Lordship looks one for next season, though an eye should be kept on the market.
