Hot Mustard makes a fifth visit to Yarmouth this term and while Michael Bell's gelding is rarely too far away, he may have to play second fiddle to OCEAN APPLAUSE. A record of just one win from 32 starts would be enough to put anyone off John Ryan's gelding but he ran well earlier in the week at Beverley and Joe Doyle's 5lb claim could prove invaluable. Jonnie Skull was sixth in an early-season handicap at Newmarket and off an 8lb lower mark, he can be competitive. Don't Be was easy to back on his British debut last month and Sir Mark Prescott's filly is worthy of another market check. Sbraase failed to justify substantial market confidence at Newcastle on his latest start, whilst the handicapper was unable to reassess Frontline Phantom following his victory at Nottingham and life will be no easier after another hike up the weights.
