ARCTIC MAIDEN refused to race earlier this month, then won at Nottingham last week, and drops back in trip today under a penalty. It's a mark of the quality of this race that she's still the most likely winner and she gets a token vote. Crabbies Gold has shown a bit more of late and Talkative Guest has claims on her best form back in May. Appyjack was a winner on Polytrack in January but remains 2lb higher despite having shown nothing since, though Nubian Gem may do better on her handicap bow.
