    Verdict

    A disappointing turnout for a nice prize. Rotherwick is probably the form pick on his latest third at Sandown and is fairly consistent. However, though he’s won over 1m1f, this extra furlong always seems to stretch his stamina. Soft going probably wouldn’t be ideal for SWIFTSURE but dropping back a furlong might help this headstrong sort, who gets a tentative vote. Solo Hunter has had a short break but would be thereabouts on his best form but Faithful Creek might need this and has a poor overall strike-rate.
