        In depth

        Verdict

        Evoke, Speedfit Boy and Huntsmans Close have all failed to improve on promising debut efforts. That's not to say they can't win this but it could pay to give one of the well-bred newcomers a chance. Van Der Neer is related to a dual winner while Mukhabarat hails from a yard with an admirable strike rate at this track. Agerzam, Mac's Superstar and MUNDAHESH are all entered for the upcoming Two-Year-Old Trophy and the latter is also in the Middle Park. His yard won this with a newcomer in 2010 and any strong support for the half-brother to winning stablemate Jawhar would be significant - he gets the vote.
