        Verdict

        Some well-connected entries for this modest prize. ROYAL FLEET, by Dubawi out of a mare who has produced winners with all three foals to race, made a good impression when scoring at Kempton in November and the runner-up won easily next time out. Sabousi cost 105,000gns and did well to score over a mile at Chelmsford as this looks his minimum trip on breeding. His stable companion Sunrise Valley is out of a mare from a top-class family in the USA while the Gosden's Ubahha has a superb middle-distance pedigree. Chalk Stream was a bit disappointing in both starts and will need to have made progress during the winter.
